Hans-Joachim Schüttke was born in Germany in 1970.
He studied church music followed by concert diploma. He worked at several Parish Churches in Cologne and Bremen, as Director of Music in Norway and Northern Ireland (Church of Ireland). Concert activities in several Countrys. He played for Nord West Radio (Bremen) and BBC-Ulster Radio (Northern Ireland). In Måløy (Norway), he was the initiator of the "International Summer Concerts". Concerts with Gary Bennett, David A.Tobin, consonance à4, Choir ConBrio, Oreya. In 2015 he received the LRSM (Licentiate of the Royal School of Church Music). In 2016 he received an Honorary Doctorate from the RSCM&URGC USA for Anglican Chant&Choral Music. For Hans-Joachim Schüttke the organ is a versatile instrument. Not only for classical music; including Rock, Swing and Gospel music. His great strength is the improvisation.
Hans-Joachim Schuettke was born into a musical family. His great-uncle was the german heroic tenor Ludwig Suthaus (1906-1971).
